Its late October, and it doesn’t take much for the fall Lake Michigan winds to change the landscape of the park.  But I still love to walk along the lonely, cold shore that just a short while ago was bustling with sunbathers, kites, surfers, and picnics.    I love the sound of the crashing waves, the wind blowing the sand, and the quietness of this public space.   The power of the wind dissolves my thoughts until there are none left.  Just the soothing sounds of wind.
